Was a KILLER... Literally! Let’s just start by stating the Obvious, any fan of the Walking Dead knew how this episode was going to end; as far as Sasha being the significant loss at the end of the day that is... We just didn't know how. Once the Flashbacks started with Abraham, and then Negan bringing Sasha his douche bag pancakes, we definitely knew that things would go south for her. Yet, it was great to see Dwight FINALLY turn his tide on Negan, becoming an asset for Rick in the form of a double agent.

One thing I loved about the dialogue between Sasha and Negan, is that she managed to pull some form of humanity from his diluted way of thinking; She changed his mind from cracking open 3 Alexandrian skulls with Lucille, to just cracking open one... lol, I know, I know, but it's a start right!?

"I mean if you had Dick, I would still have these feelings!" So he did respect her enough to say... That.

Morgan thankfully was talked into ceasing his one man folly, and persuaded to join King Ezekiel's Regiment, aiding Alexandria.
After Dwight's road block slows down the Saviors Convoy, Eugene nominates himself to talk to Rick first, to ease the tension... So he tries, and Rick asks "Where's Negan?"

 

Sadly Eugene says "I am Negan." Rick eventually gives Rosita the nod to go ahead and Blow up Eugene and the convoy with planted explosives, only to find out someone disarmed them... Scavengers then point all their weapons onto Rick's group. Around this time through previous cut scenes, we find out that Sasha has taken Eugene's suicide pill, the one he gave her from the previous episode. Next, All Hell knocks on the doors of their situation. After Negan fails to persuade Rick into submission, without seeing Sasha first; he opens the casket Sasha was transported in, and "Agggrrrg!" Walker Sasha comes at Negan, full on Kamikaze mode! She is then pulled off of him by the Veggie Vegetable Savior (the one who took Enid's knife) and she bites his face off!

Carl is quick to draw his weapon onto the diverted Scavengers, the ones who had them at gun point... Then the battle of Alexandria begins! Jadis shoots Rick, and Carl is eventually captured (Sort of like Bumble Bee and Q was captured by Soundwave on "Transformers Dark of the Moon.") BUT, This time Rick doesn't back down, as he and Carl are physically back to square one, at Lucille's Mercy. Rick doesn't withdraw his attitude, even after Negan says he is gonna kill Carl, and take off Rick's hands. But as Negan takes the Bat, and begins to make a slug fest out of Carls noggin, Shiva attacks and pounces a Savior out of left field! Negan screamed and yelled in complete utter shock!!

 

The Kingdom joins the battle as Shiva feasts, Carol and Morgan returns home with backup fire led by the King! Then Maggie returns to Alexandria as well, with more covering fire from the Hill Top!!

"God Damn Tiger!?" Negan then cuts his eyes over towards Maggie, "THAT WIDOW IS ALIVE, GUNS A BLAZING! You Taste that Simon? That is the Taste of $HIT!" After those priceless one liners, Negan retreats, and the Scavengers run away right alongside them! Negan does managed to Flip his enemies the bird on the way out though.

Yes, this entire season led to this epic battle, and the anticipation was well worth the wait. Michonne was badly beaten a Scavenger, and Walker Sasha was eventually found by Jesus and Maggie... Maggie was the one to do her. YET, her sacrifice was not in vain. Negan suspects foul play from Eugene somewhat, and Dwight left Daryl a message on a small figurine saying that "I didn't know." Probably in reference to Sasha being a zombie, or more than likely, the double cross deal made by Negan, and the Scavengers. The Walking Dead hasn't ended a season on such a high note of Victory, not really since they won the first Prison fight against the Governor.

At the end, Negan announced to over a hundred of his men... That they are going to war. War it shall be... and I’m sure that coward Gregory is up to no good as well.

Oh, and Oddly enough Jeffery Dean Morgan does look like Freddie Mercury... And Sonequa Martin-Green may be gone from the show, but her husband Kenric Green, who portrays Scott, still ironically survives in Alexandria; so good luck in season 8 Bro! I'm sure Sonequa will do great job, and prosper in the new Star Trek Television series coming soon!!! Good Journey Sasha, we will surely miss you on TWD!
