Fear the Walking Dead...
After finally binge watching like the last 8 episodes or so of “Fear The Walking Dead” season 2, I was sincerely pleased with the season finale.

***Spoiler Alert***

Finally we are now seeing the character development that we've all been waiting for.
Sadly, just like The Walking Dead, Fear doesn't pull any punches when it comes to fleshing out their in-depth storylines. I'd like to give a big hand for Cliff Curtis as Travis. The frustration he is able to convey felt real, the pain that Travis goes through, felt real. Now I'm gonna be 100% truthful... After Chris pulls a Hayden Christensen, and journeys deeper into the dark side, I personally start to look forward to his demise. He was just far too gone, like Shane gone; to the point where he would pull the trigger on his own family, not try to save them, or put them in harm’s way.
The way I pictured him going out, was not the way it went down at all. I wanted it to be Travis to do his own son. I know, horrible to say... But it's better in this case (in my opinion) because in this world, getting his son the help he needs is pretty much slim to none. A prime example of this can easily be relatable to Carol having to put down poor diluted Lizzy, remember… "Look at the Flowers?"
But sadly he never got that chance and when Chris was killed by his Douche bag new friends... I just felt empty inside when he departed from the show. It was way sadder than it should've been, because he practically died alone, and so much went unsaid between him and his father. Travis did try though, it was just sad, because he could've lived through it, maybe minus the full function of one entire leg of course. I know he had to go, I just hate the way he had to go. I just hope Chris at the tender age of 16, had met resolve within himself; in those mere seconds before being wasted... Left out like road kill in the middle of the road.

I like Victor Strand, his character is a technical thinker, savvy... But I just want them all to get the band back together again. I know Daniel lost his mind for a minute... But com'on... He's not dead yet (if the death is not witnessed on screen, there is always a chance, and Ofelia may be in America; but now she has her hands full. Nick... I'm glad he found new love, and it was very nice to see his back story with his junkie girlfriend... (She was the one we were introduced to as an infected, in the first few minutes of the show's pilot episode.)
Nick also has a nice arc dealing with Alejandro the Pharmacist. I was happy to see Alejandro go out the way he did, he practically took out Marco's entire gang all by himself, with his Zombie wall. Letting his people go, and staying behind to maintain the faith that kept the colony going... now that’s retribution.

At first I felt very detached from Fear the Walking Dead; but now, I'm all ready to get back in the mix of things for season 3. I did miss out on the “Fear the Talking Dead” episodes, but for this show... It's not as big of a deal to watch those, not like it is for The Walking Dead. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this season as much as I did, I'm looking forward to what season 3 may bring!

Oh... 2 Thumbs up Travis. Those jerk wads got what was coming to them!
